Rafael Nadal recently enjoyed a family outing in Mallorca and shared a few pictures from the day with his fans online. His sister, Maribel Nadal, later reacted positively to the photos.
Nadal officially ended his illustrious tennis career at the 2024 Davis Cup Finals in Malaga on November 19. Unfortunately, he didn’t receive a much-deserved fairytale farewell. He faced the Netherlands’ Botic Van de Zandschulp but was defeated 6-4, 6-4. Additionally, Team Spain was ultimately eliminated by the Netherlands in the quarterfinals.
Since retiring, Nadal has been fully embracing life. He recently spent quality time with his wife, Maria Francisca Perello, their baby son, and other family members at the picturesque Cúber Lake in Mallorca. The Spaniard shared photos from the outing on Instagram, along with the caption,:
Family time ❤️ family time,” (translated from Spanish to English).
Rafael Nadal’s sister, Maribel Nadal, shared one of the pictures from his post on her Instagram story, adding a heart-shaped emoji.
Maribel also serves as deputy general director at the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca and has always shared a close bond with the 22-time Major champion.
