Royal Family LIVE: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in ‘fight mode’ after fresh accusations

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle entered “flight mode” after accusations were made in a US magazine that the duchess had mistreated staff after a number of them resigned.
A royal expert has said that the couple’s reaction to The Hollywood Reporter article, which accused Meghan of being “Duchess Difficult” and terrifying staff, was like “uncontained fury”. It comes amid allegations that Meghan reportedly “marches around like a dictator in high heels, fuming and barking orders”.
In response to the claims in the Hollywood Reporter, Archwell insiders jumped to the Sussexes’ defence and said they were “total nonsense”. An Archewell source told GB News: “The duke and duchess work from Montecito, and we’re based in Hollywood. They likely think we’re all in the same office and that this quote would fly, but the circumstances don’t even allow for it.
Royal commentator Emily Andrews has now told Woman magazine that the response to the allegations was “interesting”. She wrote: “It was a short piece that didn’t even make the front cover. But the Sussexes’ reaction was even more interesting than the original story. Uncontained fury would be my reading.
“And by helping with a huge cover story for one of America’s most-read weekly magazines, her staff were, in fact, drawing attention to the original piece in The Hollywood Reporter and the unpalatable accusations within it. Harry and Meghan may have been better served by just ignoring it and rising above. But instead, Archewell went into fight mode almost immediately to defend Meghan.”
Princess Kate makes surprise visit with husband
Princess Kate made a surprise visit to Southport with her husband yesterday to meet the families of the three young girls who were killed in July’s horror stabbing.
Although Kate, 42, has attended public engagements this year, such as Trooping the Colour and Wimbledon, this visit marks her first community engagement since last December.
It comes a month after the princess confirmed she had finished her chemotherapy and would make a gradual return to royal duties over the coming months.
King Charles would welcome Harry back with open arms, ex butler says
The ex butler of King Charles said that it is likely the monarch would welcome back his youngest son with open arms if he knew he could trust him again.
Grant Harrold spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk and said: “Never say never, time is a healer. I think it depends on what he does over the next couple of years if we can see him come back in.
“I’m sure his father would probably love to welcome him back with open arms, they’ve just got to be sure that what’s happened in the past few years is not going to happen again.
Meghan Markle blamed as reason why Prince Harry quit UK
A royal photographer believes Meghan Markle is the reason why Harry left the UK.
Arthur Edwards, photographer for The Sun, said: “Meghan said ‘we are going’ and that was it. And as we say, he made that decision and disappeared. That was his choice.”
He went on to say at The Sun’s exclusive royal show: “He was fun and he was surprising. And he used to say ‘I’ll do everything I can to make it good for you’, and that’s what shocked me when he just cut us all dead, that one time up in Manchester.
“I’ll never forget and I was shocked and it was just the day he met Meghan or the day he fell in love with Meghan, and it’s all changed since then.
