Royal Family LIVE: Sussexes ‘at war with themselves’ after ‘act of desperation
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be “at war with themselves” after taking part in a series of solo engagements over the last month.
On TalkTV, Kevin O’Sullivan sat down with royal commentator Kinsey Schofield to discuss the professional and personal rift between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, with Harry having been away from his wife for almost three weeks.
During this time, Harry has visited New York City, the UK and Africa, while Meghan has reportedly been at home with the couple’s children.
Kevin said: “I think professionaly they are now at war with themselves. She’s trying to upstage him, he’s trying to upstage her, so it goes from bad to worse.
Royal expert Kinsey said: “It’s almost an act of desperation. I understand what you’re talking about when you say its almost like they’re not in sync.
One reason Harry has not been home in weeks
A royal commentator has said there could be one simple reason why Harry has not flown home between solo engagements over the last few weeks.
Jennie Bond believes the duke, 40, was prioritising his children by not coming to and from the Montecito mansion. She said: “Maybe it’s better for his kids as well, for him to disappear for a fortnight and then be at home – rather than lots of comings and goings.”
He is likely to be reunited with his wife and children this week.
Prince William makes Kate her favourite drink every night
Prince William is well-known for caring for his wife, however it appears there is one sweet gesture he does every day to make her happy.
A source said that when the kids go to bed, William makes Kate her favourite tipple – a gin and tonic. This reportedly helps the princess unwind after a long day.
Royal Family members listed on popularity
Members of the Royal Family have been ranked from most popular to least in a new YouGov poll. At the head of the family with the most popularity is the late Queen, closely followed by Princess Kate.
Prince Andrew is unsurprisingly at the bottom of the list and ranked the least popular.
Meghan Markle could return to the UK before the end of the year
Meghan Markle could return to the UK with Prince Harry before the end of the year, an inside source has said.
This comes after the duke, 40, received an invite from his uncle Charles Spencer for the family to spend Christmas at Althorp House, the childhood home of Princess Diana.
If the family do take him up on the offer, this will be the first time Meghan has returned to the country in two years.
