Prince Louis’s cheeky six-word demand to Princess Kate on his first-ever…

Prince Louis, the youngest of Prince William and Princess Kate’s three children, is a character. The six-year-old is often seen being a cheeky chap, making a funny face at his mum, or fooling around with his siblings and cousins.

During one of his first royal engagements in 2023, we got to see a bit more of Prince Louis’s character as he and his family attended the Big Help Out in Slough.

At the event, the 3rd Upton Scouts Hut received help from Prince Louis who helped with painting, resetting a path and pushing a wheelbarrow around with Princess Kate.

The eldest, Prince George, 11, also got involved and operated a digger with the help of his father Prince William.

When Prince Louis had seen his older brother, Prince George having a go on the digger he told Princess Kate: “I want to go in with him.

Following his hard work, Louis was rewarded with toasted marshmallows made into s’mores. He licked the marshmallow off his fingers before getting started on the treat.

And in the background, William could be heard joking, “You won’t hear a peep out of him now”, which got the crowd laughing.

As Princess Kate encouraged Louis to get rid of his stick, Kate revealed her sweet nickname for her youngest. “Pop that on the fire, Lou-bugs,” she told him.

Scout leader Simon Carter later told HELLO! that the family had driven themselves to Slough and noted: “[Prince Louis] was really excited. They all got presented with a Big Help Out badge at the end, so they all got a Scouts scarf.

“He was the one who ran away with the wheelbarrow. He was the one who was digging sand and getting stuck in and doing things.

Prince Louis has stolen the show plenty of times, most famously while watching the Platinum Jubilee Pageant in front of Buckingham Palace where he pulled a face at Princess Kate.

The prince was seen putting his hand over his mum’s mouth and upturning his own nose with his thumb at points in the parade.
He placed his hands over his eyes, yawning and then made his way over to Prince William, perching on the Duke’s lap as the final event of the Jubilee weekend got underway.
